From Army Boots to Beautiful Vows… & Shoes: A little about me.

Hi! I’m Kelly and for 22 years, I proudly served in the British Army, 17 of those in the Royal Military Police and the last five supporting service personnel and their families as part of the Army Welfare Service whilst also being a 2IC (aka deputy manager) to a great team. You could say I’ve seen it all: formal parades, chaotic drills, emotional farewells, and enough military acronyms to make your head spin. But now? I’ve recently swapped my beret, boots, uniform and war paint for elegant or funky clothes, beautiful shoes (much more stylish, if you ask me), and lipstick and I’m on a mission to help people celebrate life’s extraordinary moments.

So, what does a military career have to do with officiating weddings, funerals, vow renewals, divorce parties, gotach days and even pet weddings? (Yes, really.) Quite a lot, actually! Years of service taught me compassion, empathy, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep calm when things don’t go to plan, skills that come in handy when Uncle Bob goes rogue with his speech or when the flower girl stages a sit-in halfway down the aisle. Whether it’s crafting a heartfelt tribute or telling your love story with just the right mix of laughter and tears, I’m here to make sure your ceremony is as unique as you are.

But there’s more to me than my time in uniform. I’m also a qualified life coach, passionate about helping people navigate life’s ups and downs. When I’m not creating ceremonies you’ll find me out walking my two lovable and cheeky dogs, Maximus and Spartacus (yes, they definitely think they’re gladiators), and keeping fit in the gym… oh and eating cake! Most importantly, I’m a proud wife to Ben and mum to our brilliant daughter, my biggest cheerleaders and occasional ceremony critique team.

I’m your ceremony’s personal hype person, crafting unique, heartfelt moments for weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, and even the odd divorce party – your ceremony, your way, no boring bits!

The sooner, the better! 6-12 months in advance is ideal, but if you’re in a rush, I’ve got you covered.

You bet! From castles to backyards, come rain, shine, or even a hailstorm if you’re brave!

Anywhere! North Wales, beyond, or even the middle of nowhere, I’ll travel (extra fee applies for long distances).

No scripts here! Your ceremony, your vibe – funny, heartfelt, quirky, whatever you want!

I’m all for it! We can blend in any cultural or religious elements to make it your ceremony, just the way you want it.

A registrar does the official legal stuff in a registry office with a script. A celebrant is all about the fun, creating a personalized ceremony anywhere you want – think less paperwork, more personality!
